Ingredients

» Large bunch of fresh basil
» 50 g pine nuts
» 50 g finely grated parmesan
» 3 EL extra virgin olive oil
» 1 clove of garlic
» Salt
» Pepper

Method

All you need is a mortar or an electric blender. Firtsly peel the garlic and put it in the mixer and also add the salt and the pine nuts – then mix everything well.

Next, pick the leaves from the basil and add them to the pine nuts – garlic mixture and mix it until even! Then add parmesan and the extra virgin olive oil – mix again 😉

Biancas insiders’ tip: If you want an even more creamier taste then add more olive oil and parmesan! You can also use half pecorino and half parmesan for another great taste 🙂

At the end you may add some seasoning.

I really love this pesto on pasta! It’s super easy and so delicious, you have to try it one day.
